The OB2601x is a highly integrated secondary- side constant voltage and constant current (CV/CC) controller, supporting Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0/3.0/3.5 protocols. It is designed for use in applications that require Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) regulation. Two operational amplifiers are built in for voltage loop and current loop regulation with programmable voltage references according to protocols. The high gain current sense amplifiers minimize the offset for decreasing power loss of sense resistor.

        The OB2601x automatically detects Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0/3.0/3.5 protocols, and enables output voltage adjustment according to the request. It supports the output voltages from 3.6V to 12V in 200mV increments for QC3.0 protocol and 20mV increments for QC3.5 protocol. It also supports the multi-level output voltages of 5.15V/9V/12V for QC2.0 protocol. If quick charger protocol is not detected, the OB2601x disables the output voltage adjustment to ensure safe operation with default 5.15V output voltage.
