GENERAL DESCRIPTION

OB6228 is a stereo filterless Class-D audio power amplifier, which delivers up to 15W power outputs at each channel from a 15V power supply into an 8ohm bridge-tied load. It achieves up to 86% power efficiency.

 

Fixed 26dB gain of the amplifier is provided in OB6228.

 

OB6228 provides excellent EMC performance for filter-free applications with OB exclusive dynamic driving technology.

 

OB6228 provides comprehensive IC and system level protection features including speaker terminal short circuit protection, IC over temperature protection, power supply over voltage and under voltage protection, etc. The short circuit protection and thermal protection are auto-recoverable.

 

To protect speaker, direct current (DC) protection is provided in OB6228 as a latched shut-down protection function.

 

OB6228 is offered in TSSOP28, TSSOP20 and ESOP16 packages with built-in thermal pad for improved thermal dissipation.

 

OB6228LBP with lower standby current and lower under-voltage protection voltage,it’s more suitable for lithium battery power supply application.
